I’m Lucy, a celebrant based in Dubai but working all over the world! By trade I am an award winning theatrical producer, actress, singer and creative director and I LOVE what I do!

 

I trained as a celebrant after attending a celebrant led wedding and sparks were ignited. It seemed to me a role that had an incredible synergy with my existing career… using creativity, professionalism, individualisation, organisation and passion in abundance! 

 

More about me! I’ve been with my husband James for over two decades, we married 11 years ago and have a son, Charlie who is the light of your lives! I am also blessed with three grown up step children, all making their own marks in the world.

 

Through both performing and producing I have gained great connections with wedding specialists, providers, agencies and of course venues and the network is ever growing.

 

In the acting world, I go by my stage name ‘Lucy Hunter James’. My work has seen me perform on stage, screen and radio in more than 85 countries. I  perform regularly as an  emcee and vocalist at many prestigious events including award ceremonies, corporate soirees, weddings, festivals, galas, parties and more. So you see I have lots of experience in standing in front of crowds and delivering a performance! As a theatrical producer I am one of the most known theatrical names in the Middle East having produced over fifty West End productions and major creative events. 

 

Add to this mix the fact that I am a hopeless romantic, that I love people, that I’m super friendly, very calm and incredibly loyal and you’ll see why becoming the ‘Singing Celebrant’ has made perfect sense!
